- Fixed problem by looking for info on internet - Oops there was a better way - a hidden unistall utility
- Would constantly redirect to the Personal Antivrus website - Could not fix the redirect
- Use a utility calle combofix -worked great-
- careful they warn agianst downloading from anywhere else.

-Affects Microsoft's Video Controller ActiveX? library (msvidctl.dll)
-Nice little MSI's they put out for enabling and disabling the workaround
-Just yesterday there was a report that Microsoft may have known about this exploit for 18 months.
-I certainly hope that is not the case, but it is possible. Apple's been known to pull similar stunts.

- So I finally decided to have the company I work for by this for me to test
- It does what it says it will do
- I did find I could use it with my UBCD as it has a portable app for the remote PC.
- However you have to be able to use a keyboard and mouse to load the application
- As I had suspected not the device I was hoping for, but still useful

-Why the heck wasn't I told about this? They know I never would have approved of it.
-Just what we need when trying to fix a system. Another arcane utility (probably with dependencies) that we need to have working to fix the problem. As well as another set of switches to learn for the utility.

-Finally got around to putting Windows 7 RC on my Asus Eee 900.
